Thank You

Melody Bannister

Dear ones far and wide who have come out in droves to support Genevieve, Janelle, Vivienne, Peter, and me: Thank you.

We read your encouraging comments and weep with gratitude; we are overwhelmed by your outpouring of love, kindness, and generosity.

Thank you for believing my children. Thank you for telling them that THEIR VOICES MATTER. Thank you for your sorrow over their agony, and your holy wrath towards their vile abusers.

Many of you are asking what we need most right now. How can you help?

Continue the amazing work that you are doing! Every signature, share, email, phone call, and prayer makes a difference. Each drop of water in a tidal wave bonds together to become an unstoppable force.

You, our friends and allies, are that force; and we are eternally grateful for you.

Many of you have been inquiring about the legal aspect of our situation. Answers to those questions coming soon . . .

  1. I applaud you for believing your children, and doing everything to protect them. Such a tragic and truly sad story.
Praying for safety and justice for you and your children.

    1. Words cannot describe the feelings and thoughts I’m having right now, how in the world can our system ever put a mother and children through this!! You run as long as you have to and I pray you have what you need!! You have support here in Kentucky!!! May you have justice for all that those children have been through. Love and prayers!!

    2. Praying for you and your sweet children. Praying that God steps in and changes all of this for you. If you need ANYTHING, you have allies all over the country 🙏🏻

  2. God bless and protect you and your children, and as terrible as it may be I pray the truth comes out and everyone involved pays for what they’re doing.

  3. I just heard of you and your children’s story today. Reading all the articles on this site have ripped my heart out and shredded it to pieces. I don’t know what I can do to help you other then making phone calls to the people listed below. Of course I will be praying for you and your childrens safety and well being. Please let us know how else we can help. I am a Mom and if I were in your shoes I would take my children and run too. Keep running, keep hidden, and keep those babies safe. Much love to all of you.

  4. No idea where you are and just now learning of your brave story. I pray you get the justice you all deserve. I wish I could financially help in some way ♥️

  5. You are doing the right thing. Just keep protecting those babies. You have a whole Country of Mother’s who are your allies. May God keep you safe and keep you and your children out of harms way. You got this Mama. Much love!

  6. Wow. I’m soooo glad I came across this blog and the other side of the story! Thank you for being a voice for your precious children! But can’t they search out IP addresses? I don’t know. I only know what I read or seen on tv. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ And we all know how that turned out for me concerning your “kidnapping/children in danger” article I first read (and believed). At any rate, I’m wishing you the BEST! 🙏🏻🤞🏻

  7. You are all in our thoughts and I’m sharing your story where I can. So many women from our background have gotten out under very similar circumstances with their kids.

You’ve got this Melody. I always knew you were able to do great things.

  8. Just like your children I am a child sex trafficking survivor. My mother believed me as you have. I once over heard a conversation she was having with whom I believe to be a lawyer or maybe a CPS worker and she said “I would crawl across a room full of razor blades to save my baby”. To this day I believe my mother ment every word of that statement and I believe you are just as strong. Do what it takes to preserve your children’s futures. I have been able to live a fulfilling life and now have children of my own because my mother believed me and didn’t let anyone mind bend her. STAY STRONG. God will lead you on the right path.
